Why I don't play mobage anymore

The title of this entry reads kinda dramatically but it isn't really that much so. This is just a thought in my mind that's been around for a while and I kinda felt like talking about it.
Starting in like 2015(I think) with the release of Ichu (we're ignoring Enstars which came out first because it was boring and I never got into it) and the upcoming boom of mobage featuring all male main casts, I started playing them a lot. They basically consumed the free time of the next 3~4 years of my life. I was keeping up with several different mobage, grinding (and ranking) in several different events at once, keeping up with all the latest news on the ones I was playing and all the new upcoming joseimuke mobage. Doing all that takes up a heck of a lot of time.
Maybe I'm just temporarily burnt out on it, but after a while (since maybe like a year to half a year ago) I just got sick of constantly having to keep up with everything. I'm kinda the type that if I can't keep up with everything than I probably won't keep up with anything. So I just completely fell out of it. This also applies to all of the joseimuke CD/music projects that're around. The ones that predate Hypmic, and the many more that have started cropping up since Hypmic made it really big, lol. The only one I still partially keep up with is Hypmic, but that's just the music, haven't been keeping up with all the drama tracks and manga and all that.
Honestly, I'd probably still play some of them if they at least had more engaging gameplay to them. The vast majority of them are ikusei(raising sim tap tap do nothing) type or rhythm games. The rhythm games were fun at first but got old after 3 years of them haha. There were some unique ones among them like Yume100 which was a puzzle battle game (don't like puzzle games oof) and Otome Yuusha which is like a racing battle RPG(?) but it's really simple and boring.
The only ones with any kind of challenge really are some of the rhythm games. I really feel like all these developers think that women don't want gameplay in their mobage, or any joseimuke games really. And maybe they could be right about the majority of their audience. But certainly not I. Really the only place you'll get decent gameplay in a mobage that has male characters is one of the general audience ones that features both male and female characters. Like Granblue Fantasy, or Onmyoji. Although, I'm not sure about Onmyoji since I don't really play it, but in Granblue it always feels like people who play for the male characters get the bad end of the deal in how much we're pandered to compared to players who prefer the female characters. If you just compare how many girl summer SSR characters there are and how many boy ones there are... It's so obvious.
I'd probably still actively play Granblue if it weren't for that discrepancy and also if they hadn't banned usage of Viramate which I just can barely will myself to play the game without.
Okay I may be playing A3 Eng a bit right now but that's just for the story and I'm not gonna be playing it seriously at all. Definitely will not be ranking in events and I won't let myself care too much about limited gacha promos and getting all the SSRs. A3's story and characters may be great but the "gameplay" is a real snoozefest.
BASICALLY
I just want fun games. Also I'm still burnt out but maybe I'd be less burnt out if these mobage were actually fun to play and didn't rely entirely on the likeability of their characters to make it.
TL;DR joseimuke mobage kinda suck and I'm tired and sick of them so I don't play them anymore. Also heck Cygames. I just want games with some fun in them.
